Well, it depends. In the last four or five years or so the QL2 has been emasculated. C6 is no longer taught, C9 Light Machine Gun and M67 fragmentation grenade have both been removed from the training package. In the pursuit of the lowest common denominator, the physical fitness requirements have deteriorated to the point where if you can fog a mirror with your breath, then you pass.

On the other hand if your want a real challenge, then you'll be frightened and stressed out by such 'common soldier' lectures as "Knows the CF Logistics system", "Military Writing", SHARP training, diversity training, ethics training and so on.

If you're really lucky, an instructor might even yell at you, but then you'd be justified in making a complaint to your local member of parliament.

So how hard is it? Perhaps the question should have been how easy is it?
