Re: questions?

The aim of the Armored Force is to
1. Battle Tank to Tank
2. Hold the FEBA in support of the Infantry & Light Armored Units.
3. To Assault The Enemy and break through to his lines of communication (logistics)
4. To Pursue a retreating enemy
4. Reece in force

The Armored Cannon is not an artillery piece, but a direct flat trajectory hard hitting round.

The Royal Canadian Armored Corps traces its history directly from the original Calvary units hence all Regimental traditions are completely different then the Infantry and Artillery Branches.

The Average Tank to Tank engagement win loose or draw is two and a half minutes win loose or draw.

During WW II Canada  Field two completed Armored Divisions, Two independent Armored Brigades other Armored Regiments some of which served with British 79th Division ( The Funnies)

Suggest background on successful Armored use would be Herzog's History of Israeli Defense Force Battles in the past thirty years.
