Poutine came to my attention today. I of course had heard of poutine before, but to see it on one of my news outlets was a surprise. Ashton had 24 outlets in Quebec which I found interesting.

Even seeing the name gave me fuzzy flashbacks of nights at the bars in Quebec City.

I really need to go back (to VDQ...and maybe Chez Ashton).

Ashton used to give discounts based on the weather, at my time in Quebec city: -10 Celsius degress, ment 10% of discount; -20 degrees, -20%; and so on.
Also, there is the Stratos Pizzeria that one can Google for the address. They offer a "italian poutine" full of fries and meat sauce. Satisfies any starving moment.
