Ok Mike, we are about a month out from being a year with AO (amazing how fast a year passes when you’re hooked on an addiction!)  I’m sure your mind has already been ticking away some great thoughts on how to celebrate, right?  Need some more ideas??

How about draws: entries for every day signed up with AO, or consecutive days.  Winnings could include equipment (something big, like 1 or 5 or 10 of each item), milpoints (of course!), merit points (definitely!).

Something for everyone with the number of items/points based on how long you have been with the game.

Awards for top roles/leaders over the last year.

Some “big” prizes that would mean a lot to players too, although they would involve some programming on your end.  I’m thinking of something like not having missed CR for a 48 hour period.  It just keeps adding up for you.  Or bonus refill time for CR (-5 seconds for example).

A one day fun game similar to the Clowns that you had, only use birthday candles to celebrate the one year.

Special purchase price on milpoints to earn money for ARMY.CA

And cake of course....can't forget the cake!

I'm on a diet....no duff at sea....so the cake wouldn't do me much good, but I'd be up for some clowns!

Yikes, I guess it will be a year old on Sept 4th! Time does indeed fly!

Maybe to celebrate the 1 year anniversary I'll roll the code back to it's original state, just for the day. ;) I'm on vacation and then travelling for most of August, so I'm not sure I'll have time for anything too extravagant, but I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the ideas mich!
