Where I'm at now they've only been a nuisance but I hear other places such as Gagetown things have gotten right out of hand with near riots taking place. I also heard a story that made me pee my pants. At a RSM's meeting the Chief at one of the places where 25 civilians work stated, "One thing we've learned since this started is that we're employing about 25 too many civilians". I guess they were making out fine and the strikes were having absolutely no effect.
Another thing this should show is the peril of ASD. I'd hate to think what would happen in a place like Goose if all of the civies walked now that there aren't nearly enough military to carry out the essential functions.
