As a current reservist, and a full-time police officer, I can sympathize with the reg force folks who like to wear track suits off duty. I wear a uniform all day, and have to keep it at a certain standard, so when I get home, nothing feels better than putting on a nicely broken-in track suit or an old pair of jeans and cracking open a cold one. I have to be well turned out all day (or night) at work, so in my off time, I just dress comfortably. Also, if I remember right, the PT suits you allude to are mandatory purchase items at the members' expense, if they paid for 'em, let
them wear 'em.
