Yes, Europeans dominated the world for the last 500 years. Yes, whites
subjected lots of people to lots of hardship, but I (Nor, as far as I can
tell, Michael D or Scotiabank)have ever owned a slave. Common sense
dicates that punishing this generation for the acts of a previous one
is almost as insane as judging people by the colour of thier skin. I
also think several groups need to ask themselves this honest question:
"If the situation was reversed and their ancestors landed in Europe,
would they have done anything signifigantly different?". I think not.
Several posts also seemed to carp on about the achievements of East
Indians in the area of high tech. While there is no doubt that their
achievements are impressive, you've exposed your severe lack of knowledge
regarding anthropology. East Indians are causcasians. They simply
have slight pigmentation differences. Since there are only three major
groups of humans in the world(Caucasians, Negroids and Asians), which
type would say they best fit in?
