We are searching for anyone who may have served with our father in Europe from 6-7-44 to 11-11-45.
Any old stories or information would be greatly apprciated. Dad was in the Calgary Highlanders and landed in France on July 6th 1944. In my research so far I have found the that the Calgary Highlanders were part of the 2nd Canadian Infantry Division which saw action at Verrieres Ridge Dad was wounded in the right arm on the 29th of August 1944.
