This is a serious thought that just passed through my mind the other day. Why is it that when the government focuses on war criminals from the Holocaust of the Jews, it is only the Germans that are investigated. My understanding is that the Italians under Mussolini committed the same attrocities and were never held accountable after the war. Granted there was the liberation of Italy, but my feelings are that it is quite probable that there are Italians living in this country that shouldn't be here to begin with. Just like those old Nazi SS troops that seem to appear in Kitchener, Ontario now and then.

You raise a good point, though, I mean, what about the war criminals in Canada who profited by selling off the possessions of Japanese-Canadians who were interned? A lot of stuff went missing after the war (regardless of whether or not you think they should have been interned, there was no reason to steal their personal property).

These bandits have never been brought to justice, either. I think we should hunt them down and make them accountable.

And the Holocaust was not just a Jewish tragedy; as many non-Jewish people perished as did those who were of the Jewish faith - some 10 to 12 million persons in total. Or don't the "other" 6 million count, too?
