Recently at cadets we took a Fieldcraft test. If we passed, we get to wear a lanyard. I got 122% on the test (2 bonus questions), and I don't know how to make a lanyard. We can either find out on our own or wait a long time for lessons.

Does any one know how to make a lanyard or a place where I can find out how?

thanks

I had a WW I lanyard that is very similar to the current lanyard. Funny thing is, the braiding on it was identical to a plant hanger my mom had macramed.

Try a hobby or crafts store - not a model airplane shop, but one of those girly craft stores.

Mike PLEASE relocate this thing to a decent server. I haven't posted on here in recent weeks because this is just too damn slow - especially if I have to log in every time which seems to take me forever.

We finally got our lesson and I proudly wear my lanyard over my left shoulder. It turns out that the knot used is called a Portugese Sinnet (or something like that).

Thanks for the help.
