Had a boss pull a good one today. The timing for a Pl Comd hour (chat time with the troops) was given in an O Grp. This in itself is fine as it is usually a good time to air out a few things, problem is my boss asked for all questions that we wanted to ask to be written down and submitted to him for his approval beforehand! Any thoughts? I think it improper if only because it eliminates the whole purpose of the meeting, which is a chance for open discussion. Anybody have any ideas on the 'rules'? Sounds to me like proactive CYA.
