This has been a really disappointing thread. BCK asked about joining the Royal Marines, saying he found information about the Canadian Forces was largely negative. Then a group of Canadians helped him with info about the Royal Marines, but never once tried to tell him not to put too much credence in whatever negative info he has heard. Come on people! The CF is still a great career and serving Canada is still a noble pursuit. No career is perfect, no organization trouble free and no grass greener on the other side of the fence. For BCK, I ask that you visit a local recruiting office and see for yourself what the CF has to offer you. I think you'll like it. Good luck. RM.
