I also attended LDA re-education camp - oops, lectures - this weekend. Apart from the annoying Sesame Street Story of "O" Video it wasn't actually all that bad. While no one, either NCM or Officer disagreed philosohically with LDA there was much disapointment with the practical application of it.
Many members wondered after slide referring to "courage to speak the truth" was shown what had happened to the collective spine at NDHQ when LDA was created by the special interest groups which set agendas in Ottawa. There used to be a saying that there was only one colour in the CF, GREEN. What ever happened to treating all soldiers the same, encouraging team spirit as in a QL2? LDA seems to be at odds with group team building since it has at it's heart a celebration of our INDIVIDUALITY. Oh well, I sleep well at night because I'm one of those 'O's.
