I made the same observations. About half of our crse had pre's, which helped them alot. This makes sense for the support trades where it is possible to spend years in the force and never see the field. One of the DS mentioned to me a 'fudge factor' for adjusting scores of the students, used for bringing up a troop w/ leadership potential who thunders on the written tests, bring down the mark of a textbook wizard w/ no leadership potential. Anything on that?
