But, then again, I was only along for the ride (i.e. carrying the Regimental Colours) - the Senior Colour Ensign gave all the commands (except for that time during the Regimental Church Parade, when we were supposed to step off at the beginning of the hymn ... but, instead, marched out the colours to 'God Save The Queen' - a day that will live in infamy ...)
