I remember doing the 3.2 km run (not march) with helmet, weapon and webbing - just a few years ago.

We were never allowed to wear the Warrior badges in LFWA. LFWA was also the first ones to ban Garrison Dress.

The Army as a whole also had BMI several years back (Body Mass Indicator (?)) which was eventually dropped because it discriminated unfairly against heavily muscled men (calling them overweight, which technically, they were).

The bottom line is (or should be) that if you can do your job (or a job that you might reasonably be called upon to do in an emergency) then you are fit.
