I like the idea of attack helos for two reasons; one, our armour resources are getting slim, and if tanks are eventually phased out, helos give a good antitank capability, two, attack helos make more sense in a world where JOINT activity becomes more important. Attack helos are more versatile and could serve in more missions, backup canadian soldiers from bases, or from ships (if we get new AOR or other type of mission support ship)
