How Long Does It Take To Get In The Forces

Could anyone, based on their experiences tell me how long it took them from the moment you signed up, to when you went to basic training. I have been waiting for 3 weeks. Should they have called me by now or does it take much longer than that. I'm going for Regular Force Infantry and they said the job was open.
