since the ottawa pact is signed,Canadian forces dont use any pers mine.This sadly include the claymore (named the m18a1).We use anti pers mine in our training tho to stay in touch with various techniques.
Now some ppl and units calify the claymore as a weapon when its activated by someone with the claker.So this put back the m18 in service in most of our engeneer units.
Usually the clamore is shipped in a small pacckage that include a claker batteries and u can fit the det (detonator) in the upper slots of the mine.A trip wire can also be set with some skills.But we are no more allowed to use trip wire (its an anit pers mine when its setted as a booby trap)i hope this help sorry for my english
