The test is a series of multiple choice questions.
It measures cognitive abilities by being time limited,
and by asking questions or posing problems in various areas
such as math, word problems, and so on. I don't believe
it's overly difficult. The best way to prepare for it
is to do what you're doing now - stay in school, and
get a good night's sleep. The officers' test is
supposed to more difficult, that's the one I had to
write. I'm not that great in math, the test had
11 math questions out of 80 questions total, the pass
mark was 66, so I skipped the math questions and then
came back in the final minutes and did the math. As
time ran out I took the most popular answer "C" and
put it in as my answer for anything I hadn't answered yet.
I passed. What will you be doing in the Militia? That
depends on your trade. You generally do a variety of things.
At first there's a long period of training, but once that's
done, you're one of the family. Feel free to post any questions
you have, there are a few of us with some "time-in" here. For
example I've been in the Militia for 15 years, and had a
variety of experiences.
