has anyone detailed information about a battle/engagement between Canadian units and a German Volksgrenadier Division around Arnhem/Nijmegen in March/April ? 1945. My father was captured there (he was German) and I am keen to find out who were his captors. I have also information that Crerar began an offensive on February 8th 1945 on Nijmegen. I would be grateful for any information but the more detailed the better. Thanks
