The last thing I want as a soldier is private citizens having easy access to firearms, which just might be aimed at me! While I think Abacus is going to be the biggest flop since the EH101 project, there is still the remote possibility of us being in that very position in the new year.
I'm sure that those who have the legitimate need - the Army and police services, have an easier time of it.
As far as Jane or Joe Anybody ordering weapons or parts - let the authorities take as long as they need to do thier verifications! One stupid slip could land me, my buddies or my soldiers in the hospital or worse!
