You know Dav, it's not just the Reserves that have changed uniforms. I can see your point about professionalism and all that, but you can still be well turned-out in combats. Speaking as a "tradesperson", most of Logistics (except for the RMS guys) need to work in combats anyways. The work can get messy and dirty, and I'd rather mess up my combats than my garrison dress any day.

Besides, I work on a ship, so when I get to work I have to change into Naval Combat dress. It's completly different from our combats, and it's meant to get dirty and torn and such.

I don't really know what you do on parade days/nights, so I can't really say what you should wear. Office people can wear their DEU or garrison and not worry about it. Those of us who crawl under trucks, into trucks, into shelves, or fold tents need the comfort and ease of cleaning that the combats give.
