Yes, existing means...another fascinating point. Brings to mind a friend of mine who served in a CF pipe band. The PM, a CWO, was in the position for ten years despite the efforts of several NCMs who tried to apprise the CO, the Adjt, and anyone who would listen that he was stealing from the troops and abusing his power, only to have their requests for an audience ignored or laughed at. Well, my friend's PM is on civvy street now, where he was just given walking papers by the very civvie band he had started up after the Army punted him. But this was long after he had ruined several (if not several DOZEN) careers.

Stories like that are atypical (I hope), yet do they deserve to be swept into the closet - or should current serving members be ever-vigilant against such abuses, and use public forum as a tool towards increased efficiency?
