The real threat, I believe, will be when people panic prior to the new year and start withdrawing their money from all the banks, investments, etc..., to protect their assets. Doing so will probably cause quite a dillema, even if the y2k bug doesn't cause much of a problem. So what do you do? Leave your money abroad with the chance that records of it could be lost? Or do you take your finances fate into your own hands? Do the banks have enough money to handle the fleury of mass withdrawls? Have the banks made back-ups of all their files? Of course they have, but does the average person realize this?Who knows exactly what will happen in the new year or in those few fatefull days leading up to 2000. Nobody can predict human nature with great sucess. Anything could happen, something WILL happen, it's anybody's guess.
What will you do?
