Ahhh ... another brave soul boldly posting irrational ranting under aliases. God save us from those too timid to stand up and be recognized.

For any sane persons who care:

The APC in question is safe and inert. I know this from the three operations taken to drag it cross-country to its current resting spot. Even if I suspected it to contain live ammo, which is very unlikely, the UK L19 WP mortar bomb requires the correct arming and detonation sequence to function. This isn't going to happen because the required acceleration to arm won't be present.

If there is residual WP interred in the hull, the safest place for it will be in the middle of the impact area, where we fire WP munitions anyway. :)

Lifting the APC onto a flatbed and rolling it on existing roads to a safe area IS the SAFEST course of action, with the least possibility of danger, now or in the future. Subsequant use as a machine-gun target both makes it useful and fills a need.

As the "A-hole" who plans to "dick with it", I invite you to come watch. I'll hold your hand if you're scared.
