It's a long way to Ottawa from PEI (or British Columbia, for that matter) - not something most of us non-millionaires can organise "at the drop of a hat".

However, I'm confident many of us will be inserting Ottawa into our travel plans from now on (I'm lucky, since it's only a few hours down the road).

Additionally, it's nice to realise thousands of "ordinary" Canadians who visit Ottawa will now be able to pay their respects (unlike before, when only the most fortunate could afford the enormous cost of a pilgrimmage to the battlefields of Europe).

C U there, sooner or later, but eventually!
