Friend of mine showed me something of interest today; the latest 'toy' of Heckler and Koch. 5.56mm detachable rifle on the bottom and low recoil impulse 20mm cannon on the top with a programable detonation system for airburst HE. 14 pounds is the battle weight with a 30 round 5.56 magazine and a 6 round 20mm mag. US military is pouring bundle of bucks into this little sweet heart for their OICW program. I guess the caseless G-11 wasn't all it could have been. Anybody out there had a chance to cut loose with this system?

Speaking of variations on the theme...I saw a highly modified LSVW last weekend. The cab had been removed (except for the engine cowling) the body and storage area had been removed and a couple of C6 pintles fore and aft had been added. Nice little 'Rat Patrol' vehicle but leaves a lot to be desired when driving in the snow or rain. Anybody got any reliable intel on this very expensive 'jeep'?
