The weapon is normally fed from 5 round stripper clips. In action, infantrymen carried ammo in 5 round clips, carried in cotton bandoliers. Magazines, at least in western Canada, go for something like 25 bucks. You can get by with only one.

Slings are usually 5 bucks or so.

Accessories are still out there, and the Lee Enfield was a well built rifle - you ought to have a lot of fun shooting it. If you go to http://www.nucleus.com/~madorosh/links.htm there is a link to a Lee Enfield site there.
