I knew I'd get a comment from you Dav, and I bow to your superior weapons knowledge. I was told that the trigger pull would be 12.12lbs when I got it, and of course I never factored in breaking in the weapon. But, it's still a hefty pull and a better safety than a manual one. When I was first trained, we still had the S&W; .38 specials, a great weapon, but no heck when it came to reloading in a hurry. The DAO made the conversion real easy because, like the revolver, the 229 has no safety, just draw and fire.
