I have read with interest the many theories about the Infantry Sash. some sound factual and others are a little off.

I would suggest contacting Ron Ridley the curator of the museum at Fort Henry here in Kingston. I've recently been discussing the subject with him and he has shed some of his views with me regarding the origin and the history of the Sash.
