Mike,

New Look. Very nice, but would you consider increasing the font size one or two sizes larger.
How about bringing back the old Canadian Army Badge with three maple leafs as your emblem?.
Just because the Crown with the three maple leafs was my Regimental collar badge has no bearing
on my request.

As to DND Sponsorship . . . I wonder how many unofficial sites have succumbed to DND
generous technical assistance, translation, funding offer . . . and what its costing DND (read
taxpayers) to host these sites? . . . or why DND feels the need to control private sites . . . are
non compliant unofficial sites a threat to Canada, the DND, the Forces or NDHQ?

Obviously, DND Information Services and I differ greatly as to interpretation of
unofficial sites. I believe private sites is more appropriate than their unofficial term. If a
private site has not been approved/authorized by an organization (DND in this case) nor
receives financial support, or equipment and/or services whatsoever from the organization, then
the sites are private . . . not unofficial sites . . . and suggest the Information Services group
and someone higher up the chain have no right to order clean-up of non compliance private
sites. Im sure the funds expended by the Information Services group (how many in a DND
group) could be better utilized by DND, for example, how about Clothe the Soldier project.

Perhaps a Information Services group spokesperson, or the someone high up the chain
would care to enlighten us with their opinion, using these unofficial facilities.
