I went through some of my Boer War references and scanned (and OCR'd) applicable passages regarding most of the Boer War battles that Mr Harris was intesrested in. Since I am RCR, most of my works focus on the first contingent and I have not captured anything on Leliefontein. (I have also not included anything on Paarderburg.)

Keep in mind that most of these works were written by friends or members of the Contingent(s). "Clearly the military historian needs to beware in reading the regimental reports where the reputations of officers as well as their men are involved." - Geoffrey Regan, Fight or Flight, 1996.
