During WW11 my grandpa was in the Queen's Own Rifles. He was assignied to the Piat Gun. My granpa often mentioned a good friend of his that was is right hand man that was assigned to this piat gun also. The only thing I know of him is his last name DOANE and also in the Queen's Own Rifles. My grandpa has not seen him since October 1944. He has no idea if he servived the war (hope he did). If anybody knows anything please let me know. I know there is little information but that's all I have.
