My father was a mil ff for 20 yrs -- you get the same basic pay as reg members of the CF, but with spec pay added (iirc). Training is in Borden, and somewhat intensive from what I remember. You will most likely be posted to an airforce base, where there is a need for crash-rescue ff's... any more q's - don't hesitate to ask. Jay.
