I have had a very close relationship to the Regimental band for the past four years. The dedication and Regimental pride that exsists within the ranks of the Pipes and Drums (not to mention the brass and reed band) can only be wished for by the rank and file of the 'fighting' Regiment. Bandsmen will unerringly volunteer to attend parades of other regiments so as to fill out their ranks and the same is reciprocated with our band. When the 'fighting' Regiment cannot muster enough personal for an honour guard, members of the band will almost always fill the holes.

A signifcant number of the fighting Regiment will put down the band (or bandsmen) when they aren't around but watch what happens when they play the Regimental...Stand and be counted my friends, to the victor go the spoils!

All the Best
