I'm trying to learn something about the organization
of the Canadian Army during WW I, as a relative served
with the Canadian 26TH Infantry Battalion and was ultimately
KIA in Cambria, France in 1918. He was originally assigned
to the 13TH Reserve Battalion after enlisting in N.B., and
later transfered to the 26TH.
Having gone through the available documentation, I don't
find the 26TH associated with any other miltary unit.
There is no mention of a regiment, division, army, or corps.
I was hoping someone could help the "yank" out with some
education on the composition of the CEF during WW I.

Thanks,

Bruce Towers
