No, you're not the only one but I'm a little disappointed in the response from other members who knew about it but decided that it wasn't what they wanted to do. Their loss!. Had a lot of good conversations with people in the street who seem to have a real interest in the whys and wherefores of the whole thing. Met a couple of vets from the second war and Korea that were surprised that the Regiments were still around and active in support of Canada's interests overseas.Didn't have a detractors or naysayers but I did get a little tired of telling people where my 'bagpipes' were and what's 'worn' under my kilt. Did manage to get a couple of beers out of some folks that were prepared to 'pay the piper' if they lost a challenge.
